Free Trade Area: Marrakech hosts Africa Ministers on fiscal policies - ITREALMS

A seven day Africa’s Conference of Ministers (CoM) has kicked off in the city Marrakech Morocco, reports ITREALMS.

For the next seven days, ITREALMS gathered, Marrakech will be hosting the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa's Conference of Ministers (CoM).

CoM, ITREALMS reports, is one of the most important gatherings of African policy makers and experts that will help shape policy for the continent.

The theme this year is “Fiscal policy, trade and the private sector in the digital era: a strategy for Africa”.

The Forum, ITREALMS equally reports, would provide an opportunity for African Ministers to examine the fiscal policies necessary for the implementation of the African Continental Free Trade Area within the frameworks of the 2030 Agenda and Agenda 2063 and the critical role of private sector in the era of the digital economy.
