ITREALMS:
Finally, the Code of Conduct Tribunal (CCT) sitting in Abuja, the Federal Capital, has pronounced that the embattled Chief Justice of Nigeria, Walter Samuel Nkanu Onnoghen is guilty as charged, reports ITREALMS.
This follows trials over false assets declaration which has generated lots of controversies.
ITREALMS also reports that the tribunal headed by Danladi Umar, had Thursday, April 18, 2019, ruled that Mr Onnoghen should forfeit the funds in the five accounts which he was accused of not disclosing.
Also, the tribunal said Mr Onnoghen evidently acquired the funds fraudulently since he failed to show how the huge amount was acquired.
However, there are indications Mr. Onnoghen will appeal the judgement, ITREALMS gathered.
