Ekuwem retains SSG to Akwa-Ibom position - ITREALMS

The Secretary to the Akwa Ibom State Government (SSG), Dr. Emmanuel Ekuwem has retained his position in the second tenure of Governor Udom Emmanuel, reports ITREALMS.

Confirming this Thursday to 
ITREALMS via a press statement in Uyo, the Akwa-Ibom State capital, the Chief Press Secretary to the governor, Mr. Ekerete Udoh, said that Ekuwem was sworn in later today at the Banquet Hall of the Government House, Uyo by 5pm.

He also explained that Ekuwem’s reappointment was in line with the governor’s determination to keep the engine of governance running seamlessly.
ITREALMS recalls that Dr. Emmanuel E. Ekuwem, was first appointed in January 2018 by Gov. Udom Emmanuel.

Ekuwem, an alumnus of the Queen of Apostles Seminary, Afaha Obong, Abak and Obafemi Awolowo University (former University of Ife) Ile-Ife, holds a Bachelor Degree in Engineering Physics, Masters Degree in Physics, Masters Degree in Electronic & Electrical Engineering (Microcomputer-based Instrumentation and Control Engineering) and a PhD in Electronic and Electrical Engineering (Computer-based Instrumentation and Control Engineering).

Renowned telecoms engineer, Dr. Ekuwem was a one-time National President of the Association of Telecom Companies of Nigeria, former President of the Nigeria Internet Group, and the Founder of Teledom Group and is married with four children.
