Finally, the Federal Government of Nigeria has released the leader of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria (MIN), Ibraheem El-Zakzaky who left to India on Emirate Airline on Monday evening for medical trip, reports ITREALMS.
According to reports, El-Zakzaky has been scheduled to receive medical treatment with regards to reported injuries sustained during confrontation with the Army a few years back.
The Nigerian Shiites leader traveled with the wife, Zeenat, and other family members amidst tight security.
ITREALMS recalled that the IMN leader has been in 'protective' detention for over two years despite court orders for his release.
His followers have also protested across various cities including the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) which lead to several deaths including senior police officer and youth corper jouranlist with the Channels TV, Precious Owolabi at the latest count.
