Indications may have emerged that few days after assumption of office, a serious rift may have broken between the Minister of Niger Delta, Chief Godswill Akpabio and his junior minister, Mr. Festus Keyamo, reports ITREALMS.
This also led to the immediate redeployment of Keyamo with the approval of President Muhammadu Buhari.
According to the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Mr. Boss Mustapha, an official letter of redeployment dated September 23, 2019, Buhari approved the immediate redeployment of Mr. Festus Keyamo from the Ministry of Niger Delta to Ministry of Labour as the Minister of State, reports ITREALMS.
Keyamo, ITREALMS gathered with this latest redeployment would be assisting the Labour Minister Dr. Chris Ngige.
A copy of the letter sighted by ITREALMS, Mr. Mustapha said the President directed the redeployment without any explanations.
