The acting Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Mr. Ibrahim Magu, has been whisked to the Presidential Villa, Aso Rock, on the vitiation of a Presidential Panel, reports ITREALMS.
Source available to ITREALMS, Magu had just driven out of the Wuse II office of the EFCC and was in traffic when he was accosted by security operatives who told him he was wanted in the Villa.
Also, Aso Rock sources confirmed that Magu was brought to the Villa and was promptly informed that his appointment at the Villa was of more important than any other, hence he was summoned.
ITREALMS recollects that Magu, a Nigerian police officer who was appointed Acting Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission on 9 November 2015 after chairman Ibrahim Lamorde was sacked by President Muhammadu Buhari on assumption of office.
