The African Centre for Leadership, Strategy & Development (Centre LSD) will Saturday August 22, 2020 graduates its 12th set of students from her Leadership School, reports ITREALMS.
This 12th graduation ceremony, would be chaired by Senator Olu Adetunmbi, the Chairman, Senate Committee on National Planning and Economic Affairs with Hon. Justice Peter Affen, High Court Judge, FCT, Abuja; as the Guest Speaker. He will speak on the theme “Leadership, Law and justice”.
Programme Coordinator of the Centre, Victoria Oseyande Udoh, in a press statement available to ITREALMS said the theme for this ceremony was informed by the need to re-enforce the social contract and ensure that the excesses of man are regulated by the law to achieve justice.
The ceremony which is intended to have not more than 35 participants in attendance following the new realities of the Covid-19, will ensure that all the protocols as stipulated by the FCT administration, will be observed. Of the 49 graduands, 25 of them will attend physically while the remaining 24 will join the event via zoom. The release added that the matriculants for set 14 will join the graduation/matriculation to take their matriculation oath via Zoom. The total matriculants for the 14 set is put at 70.
Highlights of the ceremony will be the presentation of certificate to graduating students and the taking of matriculation oath by the new students. This year’s graduation brings the total number of change agents trained by the Centre through the Leadership School to 917.
