The House of Representatives Joint Committee on Human Rights Violations by the Federal Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) has unveiled some two dedicated lines and electronic mail (e-mail) for reporting of incidents by the general public, reports ITREALMS.
Confirming this development, Chairman, House Committee on Justice, Hon Ugonna Ozurigbo disclosed this in a press statement available to ITREALMS at the weekend.
As said by him, the numbers are only for WhatsApp and Short Messaging Service (SMS).
These numbers include (A) 09075619076 (B) 09130248644, while the email: nass.policeinvestigation@gmail.com.
The press statement further stated:
“1. For those whose relations, siblings or wards are under unlawful detention or being currently held by police for protesting against SARS.
“2. For those whose relations, wards or siblings have been killed by SARS.
“3. For those who have fallen victim of SARS brutality or suffered unlawful seizure of their property.”
