Speaking at the Anambra State Broadband Infrastructure Development Stakeholders Forum in the state capital, Awka and held virtually, Danbatta said, this RoW waiver, would make Anambra State more attractive to network operators and attract investment in the infrastructure needed to support economic wellbeing of state.

Despite the enactment of the Nigeria Correctional Service (NCS) Act 2019 which provides for non-custodial sentencing, overcrowding of inmates is still major problem confronting the service, Acting Comptroller General of Corrections, John Mrabure said on Wednesday.

The Acting CG said since the implementation of the Act began, personnel of the service have been blind to the full potentials of the new law and require training to grasp the full provisions of the law.

The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has refuted media reports which berated the agency purportedly by the Secretary to the State Government in Katsina State, Alhaji Mustapha Inuwa, saying it was out of contest and complete falsehood, reports ITREALMS.
Reacting to the report, the Assistant Corps Marshal, Corps Public Education Officer, FRSC, Mr. Bisi Kazeem, told ITREALMS that their has been drawn to a fabricated and fake statement credited to the Secretary to the Government of Katsina State Alhaji Mustapha Inuwa, in a publication by one Agaju Madugba which was published in the Sun News of Tuesday, 24 March, 2021.
