Senator Oluremi Tinubu has felicitated with Muslims in the Lagos Central Senatorial District of Lagos State and allover the country, on the successful end of Ramadan 2021 and the celebration of Eid-el-fitr, reports ITREALMS.
Ramadan, she said, as one of the five pillars of Islam, is a lesson in self-control, holiness and empathy towards others. Beyond today, however, we must ensure that these lessons stay with us, guiding our actions and interactions with one another.
"We must also continue to pray for peace in all the States of Nigeria, playing our part to curb crime, corruption and insecurity; and refusing as a people to condone persons and conduct that threaten our unity as a nation," she said.
Nigeria, Senator Tinubu said, "belongs to us all, and we must ensure that we play our role towards ensuring that we leave a worthy legacy, a Country that our unborn generations can be proud of."
"Even as we celebrate, we must continue to adhere to COVID-19 guidelines in place for our safety, while extending a helping hand to the needy around us.
"Once again, I wish you all Happy Eid-el- Fitr and the enduring blessings of God Almighty."
