Telecommunications regulator in the country, the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) has urged subscribers to leverage its toll-free numbers, reports ITREALMS.
NCC in a one of its latest regulatory initiatives to sensitise end-users, cautioned telecommunications subscribers in the country to avoid being short-changed by any service provider.
This, the Commission said, could be achieved by their usage of toll-free numbers provided by NCC when the need arises.
NCC also said that subscribers should be protected and by allowing themselves to be guided, by way of them having a better regulation of the industry.
ITREALMS gathered that some of the toll-free numbers include 112, which is the NCC's emergency toll-free number, while 622 is for consumer complaint toll-free number and 2442 which is the Do-Not-Disturb (DND) short code.
