The management of BusinessPlus Magazine has commended the Lagos State Council of the Nigerian Union of Journalists (NUJ) and National Association of Women Journalists (NAWOJ) over the condolence visit on Wednesday, reports ITREALMS.
An appreciation letter e-signed by the managing director and publisher, Mrs. Grace Ekpoanwan Achum and made available to
ITREALMS, they appreciated the council delegation led by the chairman, Mr. Adeleye Ajayi and NAWOJ chairperson, Mrs. Adiola Ekine.
Ajayi who was accompanied by his vice, Mrs. Abiola Beckley and other Executive members on the visited the media house to sympathise with them on the sudden demise of the Editor, Mrs Esther Omame recently.
"Sir, we view the visit as a demonstration of your leadership qualities and the respect your office attach to us as a Chapel within Lagos NUJ," Mrs Achum said.
The late Editor, according to her, stood for truth, uprightness, probity and professionalism in the discharge of her media duties.
"We will be delighted to see those qualities and attributes she stood for while alive to be sustained in Lagos State NUJ Council," she urged.

"We believe that this particular gesture will help mitigate the pains associated with the loss of our pivotal staff. Our prayers is for God to repose her soul in perfect peace," she said, and prayed for safe journey to their destinations.
