ITREALMS ... making leadership SENSE with digital news!
The reports reaching ITREALMS newsdesk this afternoon indicated that the human rights activist and Yoruba Nation advocate, Chief Sunday Adeyemo aka Sunday Igboho has been released from detention by the Beniniose government.
This is coming a few hours after his arrest was rumoured.
A press statement available to ITREALMS by the Yoruba Nation Global Directorate (YNGD) and signed by its Director, Princess Adeola Atayero Olamijulo, expressed appreciation to the government and people of Benin Republic for their intervention in the release of the human rights activist.
"We thank Beninese Government for standing by Yorùbá Nation" they declared.
According to Princess Olamijulo, who also expressed gratitude to all those whose prayers, called and participated in the release of the activist.
She thanked all the Beninese lawyers in Cotonou who promptly stepped into the matter for their support.
Equally, she confirmed that Chief Adeyemo is on his way to his destination, which ITREALMS gathered reliably is Germany as said by the Directorate Coordinator for Information at YNGD, Otunba Demola Edwards.
