The Media Rights Agenda (MRA) has filed a suit at the Federal High Court in Lagos asking it to order the Lagos State Government and Police authorities to launch a transparent, impartial and independent investigation into the circumstances leading to the death of Mr. Pelumi Onifade, a journalist killed in Lagos while covering the #ENDSARS protests in October 2020, and direct them to identify and prosecute those responsible for killing him.
The late Mr. Onifade was a 20-year-old second year student of the Department of History at the Tai Solarin University of Education in Ijebu-Ode, Ogun State, and was working as an intern reporter with the privately owned Gboah TV. He was covering the #ENDSARS protests in Lagos for the television station, when he was shot on October 24, 2020 by policemen belonging to a Lagos State Government taskforce, arrested and taken away bleeding.

15 Road Safety Officials arrested for extorting motorists - ITREALMS
A total of 15 officials of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) have been arrested through a joint security operation led by the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) for allegedly extorting monies from motorists on highways across the country.
The officials were arrested on the 12th of August 2021, simultaneously in Adamawa, Gombe, Ondo and Osun States, respectively, with the extorted money on them, during the enforcement of the sixth phase of ‘Operation Tranquility’ by officers of ICPC, FRSC and the Department of State Services (DSS).

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), says the number of fresh registrants on its online registration portal for the Continuous Voter Registration (CVR), has exceeded two million.
The programme was launched on June 28.

The Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) has charged a Dean in the University of Calabar, Prof. Francisca Ime Bassey, to court over her alleged involvement in N20.6 million contract fraud.
Prof. Bassey, who is the Dean and Director of the Pre-Degree Programme of the university, was arraigned at the Cross River State High Court Six, Calabar, by the Commission for allegedly holding private interests in multiple contracts awarded by the school to four companies directly owned by her.
