All is now set for the 2021 main conference of the Guild of Corporate Online Publishers (GOCOP) slated for Thursday at Sheraton Hotels Ikeja, Lagos, reports ITREALMS.
The newly elected Publicity Secretary, Mr. Remmy Nweke disclosed these in a press statement made available late Wednesday, October 6.
He said that the Thursday event is the climax of the two-day yearly conference which commenced Wednesday with the Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the group at Sheraton Hotels Ikeja, with series of activities including three presentations and a business lunch with Corporate Communications Managers, as well as its general election.
Nweke affirmed that the Governor of Lagos State, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu and Chairman, Presidential Task Force on COVID-19, Mr. Boss Mustapha have confirmed participations.
In addition, he said, Mr. Mustapha would give a keynote address at the occasion.
Equally, Nweke confirmed that the new Executive Committee (Exco) members would be inaugurated to steer the affairs of the group for another two years.
Also, he said, this would be followed by induction of new members.
