The former Nigerian Military Head of State and two-term democratic President, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, has declared Pastor Chris Oyakhilome as a generational gift to Nigeria and the African continent as a whole, reports ITREALMS.
In his usual candour and down-to-earth manner, OBJ, as he is popularly called by the media, tutored the mammoth crowd at the award venue that God had deposited in everybody a certain gift to sustain him or her when such a gift is well explored.
In the same vein, God has also created and planted certain individuals in certain regions of the earth as generational gifts for the benefit of their generations.
According to Obasanjo, a typical example of such special gifts is Dr. Chris Oyakhilome of the Christ Embassy whose life and ministry have impacted the lives of many youths in diverse ways; adding that the life and Ministry of Chris is a blessing to many and that Africa still needs more of Chris and his likes to surmount its numerous challenges.
OBJ insisted that only Africans could make Africa great even as he noted that Africa was heavily endowed with men of industry who can provide solutions to the challenges facing Africa.
Also present to grace the event, another former president of Nigeria, Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, noted that Nigeria and the larger African continent are well blessed with human and natural resources which if well harnessed, should take the nation and continent out of the woods to compete globally.
He also commended Dr. Chris Oyakhilome for the inspired initiative of the Future Africa Leaders Award (FALA) project which has so far brought out the ingenuity in a whole lot of youth whose lives has by the project, changed for the better.
Jonathan applauded the efforts of the young FALA awardees for their rare desire and skills in meeting the needs of their societies. He spurred them to remain steadfast in the faith, unwavering in love, and devoted to selfless service to humanity.

Another eminent African who graced the event was the founder of ADDI and former African Union Ambassador to the US, Dr. Arikana Chihombori-Quao.

She charged African leaders on unity in order to create a free, fair, enviable environment to attain the Africa of African dream, even as she insisted that only Africans could solve Africa's problems and just continent for all.
Responding, Dr. Chris Oyakhilome expressed appreciation for the honour shown by the elder statesmen and other African dignitaries who graced the Award celebrating the young Africans who have dedicated their lives to proffering solutions to the numerous problems plaguing our society.
The FALA President described the young awardees as talented, industrious, and valiant men and women who are setting the pace as leaders in their respective fields.
The Future Africa Leaders Awardees for 2021 emerged Cameroun, Ghana, Nigeria, and other African countries, young African leaders who are already championing various innovative and humanitarian projects to better Africa were called out to receive their awards presented by LoveWorld President and founder of the Future Africa Leaders Foundation, Reverend (Dr.) Chris Oyakhilome.
The 2021 edition of FALA produced ten nominees from thousands of entries made the final list but one will eventually emerge as the Star Prize Winner of the year.
Each awardee made home with a $10,000 cash prize.
