Meet our hero of the month, Malam Mukthar Gulma.

Reports have it that Gulma was the teacher who went to the bandits demanding they should either release his students or take him along with his students which the bandits did.
However, he was recently released with his students a couple of days ago after spending days with their captors.
It is expected that when a book about courageous people in Nigeria is written, Malam Mukhtar Gulma will be given a mention with esteem and gratitude.
Other eulogies for Gulma include:
"He is prepared to die for the sake of his pupils.
"He is worthy of emulation any day, any time, and anywhere in the world.
"He did what the toughest people in history cannot do.
"Only men of courage and faith can boldly do what he did."
Malam Gulma is a hero of our time and he is our Nigerian Hero of the Month, January 2022.
