The former Anambra State governor, Mr. Peter Gregory Obi, has formally joined the Labour Party (LP) just as he is expected to fly on the party's presidential ticket, reports ITREALMS.

Source to Obi, confirmed that he registered as a member of the party on Friday morning in his ward in Agulu, Anambra State.

This move to Labour Party, political observers said came after his team rejected the Vice Presidential offer from Kwakwanso’s New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP).
