Gambari to lead FG delegation to NCS confab 2022 - ITREALMS

The Chief of Staff to the President Muhammadu Buhari, Prof. Ibrahim A. Gambari has been confirmed to lead the Federal Government’s delegation to the 2022 International Conference of the Nigeria Computer Society (NCS) holding at the Cultural Centre (June 12) Kuto, Abeokuta, Ogun State, reports ITREALMS.

The three-day conference with the theme "Smart, Secure & Sustainable Nation (S3N 2022)" would have Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, Prof. Isa Ali Ibrahim Pantami as the chairman of the conference.

Revealing these to ITREALMS, President, NCS, Prof. Adesina Sodiya said in Lagos at the weekend that, the conference would hold between August 2 through 4.

He also said that the Federal Government’s delegation would include the Director-General/Chief Executive Officer of the National Identity Management Commission, Engr. Aliyu Abubakar Aziz, Chief Executive of National Data Protection Bureau, Dr. Vincent Olatunji to name a few.

While some dignitaries include Governor of Ogun State, Prince Dapo Abiodun, Vice President, Technology Softwaare for Africa at Oracle, Mr. Dipo Faulkner, Vice President of IFIP, Moira de Roche, President of ICT Association of Malawi, Mr. Bram Fudzulani among others.

Chairman, 2022 Conference Committee at NCS, Mr. Ayodeji Rex Abitogun that the have some three categories of participants namely registers members, non-members and virtual participation respectively with different cost attached and special discount for early birds.

Mr. Ayodeji disclosed they are deploying a conference mobile application to ease participation both within the conference venue to enable members set their priorities and be active.

Chairman, Disciplinary Committee of NCS, Dr. Charles Onyeukwu and Executive Secretary, Iyiola Ayoola accompanied the president at the press meeting while other exco members joined virtually.
