NLNG calls for more investment to ensure reliable LPG supply - ITREALMS
Nigeria LNG Limited (NLNG) has called on stakeholders in the domestic Liquified Petroleum Gas (LPG) value chain to invest in the supply of the product to ensure a reliable and steady stream of supply to the market, reports ITREALMS.Marking 15 years of domestic LPG supply in conjunction with the Nigerian LPG Association (NLPGA) at a conference in Lagos, NLNG’s Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Philip Mshelbila, said the investment in supply would intentionally spark commitment along the value chain, including vertical integrations. He stated that NLNG was doing this through its further investment in Train 7, which will add about 35% to its current capacity when completed, subject to gas supply and gas quality. This product facilitates access to financing opportunities to purchase products at competitive rates. A 12months facility tenor with a cash flow lending option up to N20M is also available. The product is packed with lots of exciting benefits including access to up to N20million without providing tangible collateral as it bridges the customers’ liquidity gap while also aiding the continuous replenishment of stock. Irona: PDP disowns fake suspension letter - ITREALMS
The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Oguta Ward A, Oguta Local Government Area of Imo State says the immediate past Deputy Governor of the State, Hon. Engr. Gerald Irona is the Pillar of the party in the Ward.
Okoroafor, who frowned at rumours of purported suspension of the former Deputy Governor said the names on the purported letter of suspension are not members of the Party in the Ward and therefore not known to the party.
Still speaking on the purported letter alleging that the former Deputy Governor was suspended by his Ward (Oguta Ward A), Okoroafor described the letter as fake, adding that those whose names appeared on the said letter were neither members nor known to the PDP in the Ward.
He warned that the party would deal decisively with anyone caught, wanting to bring the name of the former Deputy Governor to disrepute.
“Hon. Engr. Gerald Irona is our Pillar in Oguta Ward A. He is our Hero. We have no problems whatsoever with him. There is no pending issue whatsoever, not to talk of suspending our leading light. Those behind the fake letter are not members of the PDP. They are not known to the Party. They are being sponsored to embarrass our leader. We shall deal ruthlessly with anyone trying to bring our leader to ridicule. We do not joke with him. We call on Law Enforcement Agencies to investigate and arrest for prosecution, the source, author, and circulation of the purported letter of suspension of our cherished leader.”
Okoroafor also poured encomiums to the former Deputy Governor for what he described as his inspirational leadership and exceptional support to the party, reiterating their loyalty to the former Deputy Governor.

A new research has indicated that Ghana lost some 762.32 billion in Ghanian Cedes on either lost or wasted along the supply chain, and climate change, reports ITREALMS.
