Stakeholders rose from the 2022 Internet Business Clinic by the Nigeria Internet Group (NIG) with a charge for the group to intensify public enlightenment on the positive use of the Internet, reports ITREALMS.

The event with the theme: Internet Business Clinic 2022: Growth and Solution Platform, is a good avenue to highlight solutions capable of growing the industry especially the Internet.
Today, he said, the Internet remains the best means of communications based on inherent powers.
Adebayo also advised to check on the code of conduct so as to remain responsible citizens especially on the Internet.
He counseled NIG to take more interest in public enlightenment for positive use of the Internet.
Behaviour on the cyber space, is daily becoming worrisome and advised those ‘Japa’ out of the country to take good note of the other side of their intended actions or migration.
Equally speaking, the president of the Nigeria Internet Registration Association (NIRA), Mr. Muhammed Rudman who was represented by a delegation led by the Chief Operating Officer, Mrs Eyotayo Iyortim, commended NIG led by one of its Executive Director, Mr. Destiny Amana.
The NIRA COO, cautioned about people who are migrating for the sake of it, stressing that anyone not patronizing .NG is not contributing to the growth of the country and the country code name in particular.
She said there are many advantages of patronizing .NG and encouraged Nigerians to look inwards.
“Not patronising .NG means you are contributing to ‘japa’ syndrome,” she said, insisting on the need to continuously talk about .NG at every opportunity.
She urged Nigerians to be part of the solution than running away in the name japa or migration.
Earlier, NIG President and chief executive of Icecool Contracts, Mr. Destiny Amana said the NIG Internet Business Clinic 2022 is part of the group’s engagement with stakeholders to ensure better understanding that could propel their businesses to grow, especially the small, and medium and enterprises. He urged Nigerians to embrace .NG as part of the solution and be proud of the brand being managed by NIRA.
