The Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Eddinho Nigeria Limited, Chief (Dr.) Edmund Okafor has lifted some flood victims with donations of food items and cash in Awba-Ofemili, Awka-North Local Government Area of Anambra State, reports ITREALMS.Chief Okafor also known as Ikemba Awba-Ofemili made distribution of the food items including some bags of rice, tubers of yam as well as cash, at the weekend in the town.
The beneficiaries were full of prayers for Chief Okafor who was accompanied in the distribution by the Parish Priest of St Pauls Catholic Church, Awba-Ofemili, Rev. Fr. Joseph Nwilo and assisted by Ozo Emmanuel Okafor, Samson Okika, Jerome Okafor, Aloysius Okafor and Special Assistant (SA) on Security to the Solution Governor of Anambra state, Professor Chukwuma Charles Soludo. Hon. Ignatius Okafor also known as Awo.
Beneficiaries came from the eight villages in Awba-Ofemili.
ITREALMS recalled that in 2010, Chief Edmund Okafor donated a #35million water scheme to the Awba-Ofemili community, through collaboration with Guinness and for years now, he always donate Christmas and New year cow to his Enuguagu village, among others.
In 2012, Chief Okafor also known as Ikemba Awba-Ofemili, visited flood victims with cash donations and maintained the road to the town before now.
