Disclosing this to ITREALMS on Thursday, November 3, 2022, the founder of Meta, owners of WhatsApp, Mr. Mark Zuckerberg, said the latest in the shelf of WhatsApp, the ‘Communities’ makes groups better.
According to him, Communities makes groups better by enabling sub-groups, multiple threads, announcement channels, and more.
Just as WhatsApp has unveiled polls and possibility of accommodating 32 persons in a video calls from eight persons limit previously.
“We're also rolling out polls and 32 person video calling too. All secured by end to end encryption so your messages stay private,” Zuckerberg said.
In a related development, Zuckerberg revealed that some 3.7 billion people now use one of Meta's apps monthly.
“The number of people using Facebook each day is the highest it's ever been. Instagram has more than 2 billion monthly actives. WhatsApp has more than 2 billion daily actives. We're also seeing strong momentum in Reels with 140 billion plays across our services each day,” he said, stressing that overall, Meta product trends look better than some of the recent commentary he has seen.
ITREALMS recalled that WhatsApp Messenger also known as simply WhatsApp; is an internationally available freeware, cross-platform centralized instant messaging (IM) and voice-over-IP (VoIP) service owned by American company Meta Platforms (formerly Facebook).
WhatsApp, ITREALMS gathered, allows users to send text and voice messages, make voice and video calls, and share images, documents, user locations, and other ontent.
Wikipedia equally describes WhatsApp's client application as running on mobile devices, and could be accessed from computers. Thus requires a cellular mobile telephone number to sign up.

As at October 2022, ITREALMS further gathered that WhatsApp has over 2 billion daily actives.
