Worried by the increasing incitement of youths in the South-Eastern Nigeria, the Igbo Union in Finland, has summoned an emergency meeting over Simon Ekpa, reports ITREALMS.Chairman, Igbo Union Finland, Mr. Kingsley Orji, disclosed this in a statement available to
ITREALMS, said the emergency general meeting has been scheduled for Sunday, 18, December, 2022.
According to him, the venue of the emergency meeting is at Kilpakuka 1 by 4pm.
“I write to inform you that there will be an emergency meeting of Ndigbo residing in Finland,” he said.
Orji also said that the meeting has become necessary in view of the ongoing carnage going on in Igbo land allegedly incited by Simon Ekpa, a resident of Finland.
“We all must have read or be informed of the extent of bloodshed orchestrated by one singular command announcement from Finland. Evidential documents and/or order for action alluding to this indiscriminate bloodbath and destruction of properties is our primary focus for discussion,” Orji said.
The essence of the meeting, he said, is for them as a community to agree on an action plan.
“I urge leaders of various Igbo organizations to place this announcement in their respective platforms as the meeting is meant for and concern Ndi-Igbo,” he pointed out.
