The Patani town in Delta State is warming up to host the Oproza Grammar School Old Students Association (OGSOSA) as they celebrate 50 years of the school's founding and Reunion Day on February 4, 2023.
The event would take place at the school’s grounds in Patani, Delta State.
The day, ITREALMS gathered, would provide an opportunity for several of the school’s alumni both in Nigeria and the diaspora, to gather and share old fond memories and re-enact their days at the school from where they nursed their career dreams.
Several activities have been lined up for the day, according to the president of the Old Students’ Association, High Chief Whiskey Ayakeme, who said the day would be memorable and provides an occasion for old students to give back to the school.
Rev. Ovie Governor Ekpewu, a priest of the Anglican Church and a former student, will deliver a Reunion Lecture.
Some of the school's former students expected at the event include Major-General O. J Akpor, Director of Defence Information, Pastor Charles Edike, Deputy Comptroller of Customs (rtd), His Royal Highness Alaowei Broderick Okee, the Amadaowei of Adagbabiri Town, Dr Oyindeinyefa Nenuwe, lecturer at the Delta State University of Petroleum, Honourable Fred Agbedi and veteran journalist and author, Mr. Aaron Ukodie among others.
