The Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) has unveiled series of publications on Child Online Protection (COP) to celebrate the 2023 Children's Day, reports ITREALMS.
NCC sources said that the publications is for the attention of the parents, grandparents, aunties, uncles, educators, teachers, among other concerned citizens.
ITREALMS also gathered that these series of COP publications are accessible through QR Code.
Equally, ITREALMS gathered that QR Code is a machine-readable code consisting of an array of black and white squares, typically used for storing URLs or other information for reading by the camera on a smartphone.
In addition, our sources said the publications based on the International Telecommunications Union (ITU’s) guidelines, "are for our attention and information for our children and young ones."
And to take advantage of these child online protection resources, "simply scan the QR code to download the books on COP" NCC sources said.
"We wish all our children and young ones a fun-filled and memorable 2023 Children's Day celebration," our source further declared.
