Some host communities of the 15 Community Based Organisations (CBOs) have expressed satisfactions on the proactive steps by the State Advocacy Team (SAT) in Lagos for adequate monitoring, reports ITREALMS.
Stakeholders in the Alimosho,Mushin, Ikorodu, Local Government Areas (LGAs) in that order disclosed their excitement during a coordination meeting held recently.
They also applauded SAT for a profound results in facilities at different health centres across the five (5) Local Government Areas in the State.
ITREALMS gathered that the monthly coordination meeting had top on agenda the issues identified and escalated, advocacy done on the last quarter community entry for project implementations, aimed at fine-tunning the way forward for the advocacy by each organisations on the new community for this quarter-new centre and implementations.
State Programme Officer, NEPHWAN, Mr Patrick Akpan made a reference to the supervisory visits to the new Araromi Primary Health Care Centre in Eti-Osa recently to aid better health care delivery for the people.
Speaking further, SAT team lead for Lagos State, Mrs Bunmi Tejumola noted the good rapport the team enjoyed during the advocacy visits to Ikorodu North LCDA by the supervisory councilor, apex nurse and Ministry of Health (MoH).
She disclosed that Mushin Local Government Area and Odi-Olowo LCDA will top the advocacy visits for April.
For the State Program Officer, Ms Temitope James enjoined the CBOs on timely submission of reports likewise the parameters to imbibe on the project's mandate.
The April monthly Coordination meeting had in attendance some 15 Community Based Organisations (CBOs), community representatives, 3 Programme Officers of the three ATM Coordinators including TB Coordinator, Mrs Ifelunwa Aipoh, and NEPHWAN Coordinator, Mr Patrick Akpan.
