In pursuance of the dissolution of the board and management of Union Bank, Keystone Bank and Polaris Bank on Wednesday, January 10, the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has appointed new executives to oversee the affairs of the banks in the interim, reports ITREALMS.The acting Director, Corporate Communications, CBN, Mrs Sidi Ali, Hakama informed ITREALMS in a press statement that for the Union Bank, that Yetunde Oni has been named the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer and Mannir Ubali Ringim becomes the Executive Director.
For the Keystone Bank, she said that Hassan Imam is the new Managing Director/ Chief Executive Officer with Chioma A. Mang assumes office as the Executive Director.
Equally for the Polaris Bank, the CBN spokesperson, informed that Lawal Mudathir Omokayode Akintola, is the new Managing Director/ Chief Executive Officer while Mr. Chris Onyeka Ofikulu would support Akintola as the Executive Director.
These appointments, CBN further said take immediate effect.
