NNPC insists 'No increase in PMS prices,' assures Nigerians - ITREALMS

The Nigerian National Petroleum Company (NNPC) Ltd. has insisted that there no increase in the cost of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) also known as petrol locally, reports ITREALMS.

The Chief Corporate Communications Officer, NNPC Ltd, Mr. Olufemi Soneye made this declaration in a press statement available to ITREALMS, assuring the public that there is no imminent increase in the cost of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), commonly known as petrol in the country.

NNPC, he said, urged Nigerians to disregard unfounded rumours as the company reassured them that there are no plans for an upward review of the PMS price.

"Motorists nationwide are advised against engaging in panic buying, as there is presently ample availability of PMS across the country," he said.
