'Nutritional Journeys with Teens' makes a debut - ITREALMS

The Hospitality Alliance of Ghana has launched its maiden innovative program, "Nutritional Journeys With Teens," designed to engage and educate young minds on the importance of nutrition while showcasing the richness of Ghana cocoa, reports ITREALMS.

This exciting initiative will take place on February 20th, 2024, at 10:00 AM, hosted at Achimota Secondary School.

The event aims to provide a platform for students from some selected senior high schools to explore the world of culinary arts, focusing on the nutritional benefits of cocoa, a vital component of Ghana's agricultural heritage. Through interactive sessions and hands-on experiences, participants will discover the diverse applications of cocoa in creating delicious and healthy recipes.

"We are excited to introduce 'Nutritional Journeys With Teens,' a program that not only promotes healthy eating habits but also celebrates Ghana's rich cocoa heritage," said Chef Joe Wilson-Tetteh, Founding President of the Hospitality Alliance of Ghana. "By engaging with students at a young age, we hope to foster a deeper appreciation for locally sourced ingredients and inspire the next generation of culinary enthusiasts."

The program been our maiden event will feature engaging workshops led by industry experts, where students will have the opportunity to experiment with chocolate recipes and learn about the nutritional value of cocoa. Additionally, participants will receive certificates of participation to commemorate their involvement in this educational event.

The vision of the newly formed Hospitality Alliance of Ghana is to cultivate a thriving hospitality community renowned globally for its excellence, professionalism, and commitment to nurturing young talent. With a mission to elevate the standards of the hospitality industry in Ghana, the Alliance provides comprehensive education, training, and mentorship programs to aspiring professionals, empowering them to uphold international standards of hospitality and contribute positively to the industry's growth and reputation.

"We believe that by investing in the education and development of our youth, we can create a brighter future for Ghana's hospitality industry," Chef Joe added.
