Children all over the country have been advised to face their studies, shun any acts of laziness, conform with good character and brace up for a brighter future, reports ITREALMS.

This assertion was made by the organiser and program coordinator, In Da House Entertainment, Mr. Adeniyi Ayandokun while welcoming the children, parents and teachers to this year's Children's Day Celebration with the theme "The Future" held at A3 Gardens, opposite Ventura Mall, Sango, Ibadan.

He also said that when children get focused and confirmed, "the world is eagerly waiting for their optimum success."


In her words, one of the parents, Mrs Zainab Olabisi Akinpelu, expressed delight on the preparation for the children, and advised them to always listen to their parents and obey their teachers, inorder to be a cynosure of all eyes as they grow.

Mrs Akinpelu stressed the need for parents to pay more attention to their children's total upbringing, give ears to their observations, complaints and accurately direct them on the right paths to avoid societal ills as children are the leaders of tommorrow.

"The children should learn, read, so as to be great leaders in Nigeria," she declared.

In the same vein, the Proprietress, Kiddies Foundation Private School, Apete, Ibadan, Mrs Funmilola Akano, charged the children to continue to face their studies squarely , not giving time to idleness but be firm in their determination to excel.

To the parents and guardians, Mrs Akano tasked them to take good care of the children and wards in order to become an exemplary leaders, as home plays a major role in shaping their future.

Some side attractions at the program were children parade, tie-knots, blind shopping using toys, swimming, dancing, filling the bottles, among others.


ITREALMS gathered that this year In Da House Entertainment program got product support from Fanmilk Nigeria, Sweetco Foods and Sumal Foods Ltd.
