AfTLD names Nigerian Eyitayo Iyortim, president – ITREALMS

The Africa Top Level Domains Organization (AfTLDs) Executive Committee has named Mrs Eyitayo Iyortim from Nigeria (.NG) as the Chairperson of the Executive Committee and President of the organization, reports ITREALMS.

The Executive Committee arising from its session in Nairobi at the weekend, informed ITREALMS, that Mrs. Iyortim would be deputized by Prof Idrissa Sarr, Vice President, Manager of the .SN ccTLD.




Also in the new Executive Committee included Mr Joel Karubiu from Kenya (.KE) who continued as the Treasurer.



Other newly elected Executive Committee members were Mr. Molehe Wesi, the Chief Executive Officer .ZA Domain Name Authority (.ZA) and Deo Gratias Tonouhewa Manager JenySAS operator (.BJ), Ms. Grace Ingabire, Chief Executive Officer of Rwanda Information and Communications Technology Alliance (.RW) and Mr. Molupe Molupe, Manager of Lesotho Network Information Centre (.LS).



Until recently, Mrs Eyitayo Iyortim was the immediate-past Chief Operating Officer (COO) at the Nigeria Internet Registration Association (NIRA).



She has expertise in driving innovation, impact, strategic planning, leadership, and technology development.
