Barely 24 hours after he was abducted by unknown gunmen, the President-General of Abatete community in Anambra State, High Chief Ezebinobi Chimame Ezigbo, has regained his freedom, after escaping from the kidnappers den, reports ITREALMS.
Ezigbo also applauded the good people of Abatete for their prayers, the Igwe, leadership of Ambassadors of Abatete, and chairman of vigilante and his team.
He hailed the "Almighty God, Igwe Abatete, Engr. Emeka Ofobu, Ojiofor Abatete, Ichie Allen, all the prayers warriors. We shall continue on our good strides. Our children will continue to go to school."
As said by him, he escaped and stayed till day break. I had called him, the chairman, Vigilante, Dikeora, to come with his squad, but he came alone. I appreciate him.
He reassured that the good assignment by the Ambassadors of Abatete will continue without fear or harassment.
"The Great Abatete Ambassadors would give Abatete work and we cannot succumb to fear," he reassured.

Chief Ezigbo, ITREALMS gathered is the President General of Abatete Community in Idemili North Local Government Area of Anambra State.
ITREALMS recalled that Ezigbo was kidnapped in the late hours of Tuesday, September 17 in front of his house, by unidentified gunmen who trailed him from a destination; just few hours after a member of the community, Dr. Law Mefor, was appointed and sworn-in as the state’s new Commissioner for Information by Governor Chukwuma Soludo.
However, the kidnapped PG reportedly regained his freedom and safely returned to his home, this Wednesday morning.
