The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Director-General (DG) of the National Identity Management Commission (NIMC), Mrs Abisoye Coker-Odusote was honoured with an honorary doctorate degree by the African University of Science and Technology (AUST) in Abuja, the federal capital territory (FCT), reports ITREALMS.The event which took place on Tuesday.
ITREALMS gathered was in recognition of Coker-Odusote’s significant contributions to nation-building, particularly her exceptional leadership in transforming the country’s identity management landscape.
Under her leadership, NIMC has made significant strides in enhancing the country’s national identity system.
“I am deeply honoured to receive this prestigious award from the African University of Science and Technology,” she wrote on her X (Twitter) page, @EngrAbosoye.
Coker-Odusote also pledged to continue in her efforts to contribute meaningfully to the development of Nigeria.
