It is now true that Darey.io and Xterns.ai have been officially launched in Nigeria, reports ITREALMS.Founding Chief Executive Officer (fCEO) Darey.io and Xterns.ai, Mr. Dare Olufunmilayo, told ITREALMS at the weekend during the formal launch, that Darey.io, is Africa’s first Contextual Learning Platform (CLP) and just like his story which began some 15 years ago as a fashion designer in Yaba, Lagos, “anyone can launch their tech career using our framework. That's why we are darey.io.”
The launch of both platforms, Darey.io and Xterns.ai, he said, is "a movement, a revolution in how we learn, build careers, and create opportunities in the tech ecosystem."
A few years ago, Mr Olufunmilayo said, they started with a bold vision to empower Africans with world-class digital skills and bridge the gap between talent and opportunity.
"We believed that, with the right platform, the right training, and the right mindset, anyone—no matter their background—could go from learning to earning in the global digital economy," he said. That vision, Olufunmilayo said, has now become a reality with thousands of Nigerians having started their careers through Darey.io, working for top global companies, launching startups, and creating groundbreaking solutions.
Xterns.ai, he said, is their next big leap, where they do not just train talents, "we integrate them directly into the workforce through our proof-of-skills hiring model."
He pointed out that “It is one thing to have knowledge, acquiring skills and experience requires both.”
These, he said, takes “Preparedness and Opportunity” which is on offer by Xterns.ai.
Stressing that Xterns.ai, for instance, is for those searching for projects to work on; working collaboratively with other learners; gaining access to industry tech leads; tracking both technical and soft skills with Artificial Intelligence (AI).
Further, he said, these avail potential beneficiaries on the platforms to build a digital portfolio that recruiters and hiring managers trust.
“So, whether you’re a learner, an entrepreneur, an investor, or a policymaker, you are a key part of this journey. Nigeria is rising as a tech powerhouse, and together, we will shape the future,” he said.
Urging for innovative connections that could help in building the next generation of African tech leaders, Olufunmilayo welcomed participants to the launch of Darey.io and Xterns.ai.
