The remains of former Vice Chancellor, Olabisi Onabanjo University (OOU), Ago Iwoye, Prof. Wale Are Olaitan, would be interred on Friday, April 4, 2025, in his hometown, Ijebu-Igbo, reports ITREALMS. According to Kemi Olaitan in a press statement available to ITREALMS, on behalf of the Olaitan-Gbolade family, Ijebu-Igbo, the burial arrangements of the late educationist icon, would commence on Friday.
He also revealed that a funeral service would be held in his honour at The Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses,79, Adeboye Road beside Ansarudeen Central Mosque, Oke-Sopen in Ijebu-Igbo by 11am.
The former, Vice Chancellor, OOU, would be laid to rest at a private interment in his hometown, Ijebu-Igbo.
Equally, the Olaitan-Gbolade family expressed their profound gratitude and appreciation to colleagues, associates, friends and sympathizers nationwide and outside the country for the outpouring of emotions after his demise.
