Soludo reassures on every investment, urges indigenes to look homeward - ITREALMS

The Anambra State government has reiterated its resolve to secure every investment in the domain, ans urged indigens to look homewards, reports ITREALMS.

Speaking at the unvieling of the Anambra Homeland Consciousness Initiative in Amowo Odofin, Lagos, on Sunday, March 2, 2025, the state governor, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo gave this assurance ans beckon on indigenes to take homeland call seriously.

He also said that as part of efforts at addressing the nationwide security challenges, Anambra, has invested in security and infrastructure.

He said that building infrastructure is nimperative to catalyse growth and development.

Accordingnto him, Anambra state is not just calling for homeland consciousness, but investing on necesssry infrastructure to facilitate that, especially looking at the solution agenda to make the state conducive for indigenous investment whether locally or from diaspora.

ITREALMS gathered that Gov. Soludo agenda cuts across, security, economic transformation, human capital development, environmental sustainability and good governance.

By focusing on these key areas, the government aims to make Anambra a preferred destination for investment and development, while leveraging the contributions of its indigenes worldwide.

Dwelling on the theme: "Homeland Consciousness, for the love of Anambra State’ he said with the state’s masterplan in place, he assured of a working system.

He urged indigenes to be positive about the state and full security is gradually returning to the State.

He pointed out that they aware of some eight Local Government Areas that were under security threat when he became governor, but, "today that is in the past."

Additionally, he urged the indigenes to look homewards when investing, stressing it would help to build the internally generated revenue and contribute to the Security Trust Fund.

As said by him, establishing the head office of their businesses in the Anambra State will no doubt boost the state IGR.

This, he said, will help them to development communities and create more jobs for the youth.
