Some eight persons including four foreigners and four Nigerians have been declared wanted over alleged N1.3 trillion scam using the Crypto Bridge Exchange (CBEX), a digital trading platform, reports ITREALMS.
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) made this declaration Friday in a publication on its X handle.
They included seven male and one female.
This came in the wake of another digital trading platform collapse identified as ADK Solutions running into another trillions scam in Nigeria.
According to EFCC, the four foreigners comprised Johnson Okiroh Otieno, Israel Mbaluka, Joseph Michiro Caber, and Serah Michiro, who is the only female among them.
The other four Nigerian suspects comprised Adefowora Olanipekun, Adefowora Oluwanisola, Emmanuel Uko, and Seyi Oloyede.
“The public is hereby notified that the persons whose photographs appear above are wanted by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) for fraud allegedly perpetrated on an online trading platform called Crypto Bridge Exchange (CBEX),"
